In these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Meissa Print. “You” and “your” refer to the person using our website or purchasing from us.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information and forms part of your relationship with us.
2. Products and Product Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, measurements and other information on our website are accurate.
However:
- colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device;
- measurements, weights and dimensions may vary slightly where this is inherent to the nature of the product; and
- packaging may differ from photographs shown on the website.
These differences do not affect your statutory rights.
Some products may be made to order, personalised or customised. Where this is the case, any specific production or dispatch times will be stated on the relevant product page.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated.
The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place your order.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but price changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.
Delivery charges are additional unless otherwise stated and will be shown during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be made in full when placing your order.
We use third-party payment providers, which may include Shopify Payments, PayPal and other payment services offered through our online checkout. Payment processing is subject to the relevant provider's terms and conditions.
We are currently not VAT registered. Where applicable, VAT treatment will be shown at checkout.
4. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation acknowledging that we have received your order. This does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and us is formed when we accept your order and confirm that it has been processed or dispatched.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example:
- a product is unavailable;
- there has been an obvious pricing or product description error;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or
- we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund.
5. Delivery
Information about delivery options, costs and estimated delivery times is provided on our website and at checkout.
Orders are normally dispatched within 48 hours, excluding Sundays and public holidays, unless a different dispatch time is stated on the product page.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control, including postal delays, severe weather, strikes, customs procedures or other disruptions.
For international orders, delivery charges vary according to destination and are calculated at checkout.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
For international orders, you may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
We are currently unable to ship to countries within the European Union.
If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, additional postage may be payable before we resend it.
6. Your Consumer Rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have legal rights under UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where applicable, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects or limits your statutory rights.
In particular, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose where required by law.
If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us and we will work with you to provide the appropriate remedy under your legal rights.
7. Cancelling an Order
If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
To exercise your right to cancel, you should contact us clearly in writing, preferably by email to:
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or we have otherwise agreed to cover the cost.
Goods should be returned in an appropriate condition. You may handle the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be responsible for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond this.
Where a valid cancellation applies, we will refund the payments received from you in accordance with applicable law.
8. Products Excluded from Cancellation Rights
The statutory right to cancel does not apply to certain types of goods, including goods that are:
- made to your specifications;
- clearly personalised; or
- otherwise excluded from the statutory cancellation right by law.
This does not affect your statutory rights if such goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
9. Returns and Refunds
Our returns procedure is explained in our Shipping & Returns Policy.
Where you are entitled to a refund, we will normally refund the payment using the original payment method.
If you are cancelling an order under your statutory cancellation rights, we may wait until the goods have been returned or you provide evidence that they have been returned, whichever happens first.
Where permitted by law, we may deduct an amount from the refund if goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning and this has reduced their value.
10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please contact us as soon as possible if you receive an item that is:
- faulty;
- damaged in transit;
- incorrect; or
- materially different from its description.
Please provide your order number and, where appropriate, photographs of the item and packaging so that we can investigate the issue.
Your statutory rights are not affected by any time period we may request for reporting damage or other problems.
11. Custom and Personalised Products
Where you request a product to be personalised, customised or made specifically to your requirements, we will use the information provided by you when producing the order.
You are responsible for checking that any names, wording, spelling, dates, measurements or other information supplied to us is correct.
Once production has begun, personalised or customised orders generally cannot be cancelled simply because you have changed your mind, subject to your statutory rights.

From time to time, we may offer promotional codes, discounts or special offers.
Unless otherwise stated:
- promotional codes must be entered at checkout;
- discounts cannot be applied retrospectively;

Additional terms may apply to individual promotions and will be stated with the relevant offer.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions where permitted by law.

We are not responsible for the content or operation of third-party websites that may be linked from our website.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
18. Website Availability and Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website available and its information accurate and up to date.
However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or completely free from errors.
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue parts of the website from time to time.
This does not affect any rights you have in relation to products that you have already purchased.
19. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
This includes liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
If you are a consumer, we will not exclude or restrict your statutory rights.
Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was formed, or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
20. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These may include natural disasters, severe weather, fire, power failure, industrial action, interruption of transport or postal services, government action, war, civil unrest, epidemics or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where appropriate.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to your purchase will be the version in force when you place your order.
The current version will always be available on our website.

If you are a consumer, you will retain any mandatory legal rights available to you under the laws applicable to your place of residence.
The Scottish courts will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer rights regarding jurisdiction.
24. General
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms & Conditions, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
These Terms & Conditions, together with our product information, checkout information and relevant policies, form the terms applicable to your purchase.
